The original FIFA World Cup™ Trophy was shown to Korean football fans on the 24th!
On the 24th, Coca-Cola held the FIFA World Cup™ trophy public media event in Korea as part of the ‘FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Trophy Tour’ at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido.
Participants for this media event, including Coca-Cola representative Choi Su-chong, Korea Football Association Vice President Lee Yong-soo, Korean national football team coach Paulo Bento, FIFA legend former Brazilian national football team member Rivaldo, former national football team coach Bum-kun Cha, and former national football team member Park Ji-sung, expressed wishes for a successful FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and for the success of the Korean national football team.
With great enthusiasm from the media to participate in this event, there was almost no space in this venue for everyone, which included not only domestic general broadcasters and cable broadcasters, but also reporters who usually only cover major events, either at home or abroad.
The ‘FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour’ by Coca-Cola started in 2006, with this being the fifth event. Every year the FIFA World Cup™ takes place, original trophies are shown all around the world, providing football fans with an unforgettable and thrilling experience. This year’s FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour will tour all 32 qualifying countries for the first time in history, departing from Zurich, Switzerland, and visiting Korea along the way. This is the fourth visit to Korea, with previous visits taking place in 2006, 2010 and 2014.
